The skinny: The restaurant will have been serving dishes like the Mac ’n Cheesy and the Full-afel for almost seven weeks on January 12. That’s the date that Chomp owner Vanessa Mills has picked for the eatery’s grand-opening celebration. The event promises live music and gift-card draws. Ten percent of the restaurant’s sales that night will go to the Charlene Reaveley Children’s Charity Society.
