It’s that time of year again! Best of BC Wines Uncorked is back. This wine-tasting event happens twice a year in Port Moody. The event showcases new and current releases from top BC wineries, and raises funds for the Port Moody Arts Centre. Wine, friends and a chance to support local arts and culture? Best of BC Wines Uncorked is a winner, for sure. It’s coming up on Saturday, November 3, 2012 starting at 7:00pm at the Port Moody City Hall Galleria [map]. The organizers are pleased to be featuring more than 35 of the best BC wineries.
Best of BC Wines Uncorked is presented by West Coast Wine Education. Wine expert John Gerum started that business to help the general public become more educated consumers in the world of wine. In looking forward to the wine event, John points to the new law in BC that allows diners to bring their own wine to a restaurant. He says, “Sample the newest BC releases and you can decide which wine you would like to bring on your next culinary adventure. The wine list just got bigger!”
