Get inspired, spend some money and take part in a play this coming week.  The Tri-Cities Meetup Group, Think Thursdays, is excited to bring Peter Legge to this month’s cocktail event as a guest speaker.  Entrepreneur, community leader, bestselling author; Peter Legge will get you inspired to live your dream life.  For all you shopaholics out there, The Experience factory outlet sale 3-day event will be happening at the Red Robinson Show Theatre.  Or how about trying out some interactive theatre?  Ioco Days Festival is starting up this weekend and  Rebel Haunt Theatre will be putting on a 1930′s Ioco-themed interactive play as part of the festival.  There’s also a movie night, an art exhibit, a dance competition and a dinner & fashion show to check out below.  Have a great week!

The skinny:  Port Moody Arts Centre Exhibition Opening Reception features: Lynn Webster and Marguerite Mahy in the main Gallery  presenting “For the Love of Nature” (Paintings),  Shari Pratt: Artist in Residence will be in the 3D Gallery , Rose Kapp will be in the Plum Gallery  presenting “Classical Critters” (Drawings in ink and washes) and Case Rachel Ashe’s “Paper Sculptures” can be seen in the Plum Display Case.
